ToggleThe story of this motorcycle began with a simple wish. A rider wanted to rediscover the quiet joy of being alone on the road. He dreamed of a motorcycle that spoke in his voice, not too loud or too showy, but alive in every sense. He turned to FCR Original, the French workshop known for shaping emotion out of metal, to bring that dream to life.

The client was not chasing power or speed. He wanted connection. He wanted the control that comes when a machine and rider move as one. Out of that idea, a new version of the Triumph 1200 Bobber began to take shape.
FCR Original built on the foundation of British engineering with a touch of French creativity. The Triumph Bobber, already pure by design, became their canvas. The team removed everything unnecessary and refined what remained.

The fuel tank kept its original form but gained a Pearl Grey finish that changes tone with the light. Black lines add contrast and focus. The front and rear mudguards, made in-house, keep the flow simple and balanced. The seat, shaped by hand from vintage tobacco leather, connects warmth and texture to the dark metal body.
Black anodised parts, from the triple clamps to the handlebar risers, tie the bike together visually. Every surface feels calm and precise. Nothing stands out more than it should.

FCR left the Triumph engine intact but allowed it to breathe more freely. A K&N cone air filter replaces the factory intake, and the intake covers were removed. The black FCR Street exhaust system gives the bike a deeper, cleaner sound. A black anodised belt drive conversion and custom engine badges complete the mechanical theme.
The chassis was tuned for control. The Thruxton inverted fork sharpens front-end feedback. Shock Factory adjustable rear shocks, made for this build, keep the ride stable and smooth. Satin black 17-inch spoked wheels with stainless spokes wear Michelin Road 6 tyres. Brembo brakes with wave discs and aviation hoses give strong, consistent stopping power.
Every element follows a clear purpose. The original headlight was repainted and fitted with clear glass. Motogadget Blaze indicators blend into the frame. The mini Bates rear lights keep the rear section clean. Even the ignition was moved to the right side to keep the lines open.
Designers at FCR sketched the concept digitally before the build began. Craftsmen shaped metal and leather by hand. Painters mixed the Pearl Grey finish inside FCR’s own lab. Mechanics assembled each part until it moved in harmony.
Nothing about this Bobber feels forced. Every line fits. Every surface flows. The bike carries the quiet confidence of a machine built with patience and skill.
When the engine came to life, the motorcycle revealed its character. British precision built the base. French craftsmanship gave it soul. The two combined to create something honest and timeless.
This Triumph 1200 Bobber is not about power. It is about balance. It proves that strength can exist without aggression and elegance without excess. It reminds the rider that beauty lives in small details: in the note of a tuned exhaust, in the grip of warm leather, in the steady pulse of a reliable engine.
The client wanted a motorcycle that felt personal. FCR Original built one that feels alive.
